"This property is very well maintained and rooms are clean, and very well-appointed with the needed comforts. We truly applaud the attention-to-detail and effort that the husband-and-wife owners have put into this bed-and-breakfast property. We arrived as it started to get colder and truly appreciated the warm heating in the rooms. Fantastic warm showers. An amazing bonus amenity was the electric toilets! We are also thankful to the lady boss for highlighting the first Huangshan Peak snow-fall on our last day of stay! Upon her encouragement we decided an impromptu climb up Huangshan a second time. We were glad we did! The snow scenery at Huangshan peak was AMAZING. THANK YOU!"

"The best hotel we stayed at in china. A small traditional bulding, two floors. With a modern bathroom, fully equiped. Beautiful designed with lovely spaces to sit around and enjoy the traditional designs and details. It's situated in the best location in the old town pedestrial street, very friendly abd a lovely fresh chinese breakfast."

"This B&B is our most impressive stay during 13 day trip in East China. Charming decorations, comfortable bed, tasty breakfast and most importantly, their hospitality!! Jacky is the warmest host. He did a great job in serving his guests. We felt like we are his friends rather than customers. He gave so many good advises on the Huangshan walk routing, taxi booking to Chemgkan and also good place to dinner. Unfortunately, we stayed only one night here and it rained In the early evening so not much chance to explore Tunxi as we wished."

"A hidden, ancient courtyard tucked away in Tunxi Old Street, featuring a stargazing loft where you can gaze at the starry sky and bright moon directly from your bed. On the Mid-Autumn Festival, I was able to lie in bed and watch the moon without stepping outside—it was truly dreamlike. The common areas are incredibly spacious; my child spent time practicing calligraphy and playing the guzheng, completely captivated. It was wonderfully relaxing, washing away all the fatigue from yesterday's hike up Huangshan."

"Highly, highly recommend! This is by far the best hotel I've ever stayed in, not just for its thoughtful service, but also for its proactive and highly professional, personalized approach. The hotel's location is exceptional, very close to Bright Summit and prime spots for sunrise and sunset viewing, and it's on the main route to other popular attractions. The hotel facilities are quite comprehensive, specifically catering to hikers. Plus, they offer free Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) for guests to wear for photos. They also provide complimentary down jackets for use in the guest rooms. The service, though, is what truly stands out—it's incredibly attentive! And all the services are proactively offered, anticipating guests' needs, which completely redefined my understanding of hotel room service. We were able to check in several hours early, saving us from lugging our luggage up the mountain. They also gave us very clear recommendations for our Huangshan itinerary! Seeing an extra child in our room, they proactively brought extra toiletries. They also reminded us multiple times about sunset times, etc. After we finished exploring for the day and returned to the hotel... that's when the real magic happened—this service truly exceeded my expectations. First, we were invited to watch a performance arranged by the hotel, then offered orange juice, followed by foot soak packets delivered to our room, and even a 20-minute free massage chair session. Isn't this exactly what we needed after a full day of strenuous hiking? A little while later, presumably after we finished our foot soaks, fresh fruit was delivered directly to our door! Did we think it was over? No, local specialty snacks were also brought to us! The next day, even after we had checked out and were about to leave, they offered milk tea and bottled water, all to keep us hydrated during our climb. This service is truly incredibly thoughtful. The key is that all of this was proactively offered by them. Before staying at this Baiyun Hotel, I honestly had no idea service could be this good! It's absolutely amazing! Huangshan is beautiful, and I'll definitely be back, and I'll be staying here again next time."

"The service is very good, the environment is nice, you can go to the old street when you go down, it is a very good characteristic hotel, I recommend it to everyone. Stay here to experience the characteristic architecture, snacks, and humanities of Huizhou Old Street, and experience it slowly."

"I like the room very much, it's a twin room with a lot of space. Because I couldn't confirm the exact arrival time at Huangshan North, I contacted the manager Huahua just before I got on the bus, and he immediately arranged a driver to pick me up at the station. The driver in the fleet was also very nice, he dropped me off near the hotel for free, and helped me contact the uncle in black clothes in the store, who kept helping to carry the suitcases. I walked slowly with my mother. When leaving the next day, Huahua helped carry the suitcase again, feeling very embarrassed. We took another driver's car in the fleet to the hotel in Tangkou Town. The scenery along the way was really beautiful. A stay experience beyond imagination."

"Location is excellent. Around the corner is Tunxi Old Street and Liyang Food Street is about a 10 min walk. The hotel is very old. The lobby is the only part of the building that has been renovated. The elevator and carpets leading to the guest rooms are old, stained, and very dirty. The room size is average, but very dusty. You can see the dust hanging from the walls. The room smelled smokey and poorly sound proofed. You can hear the neighbors all night. The bathroom smelled musky and there are urine stains on the toilet seat. Even though location is great, I would choose another hotel next time."

"Great Hotel, large rooms, wonderful view on the river, very clean and quiet, perfect location in old street quartier. The owner is very caring, always available, speaks english. Helps organizing trips to yellow mountains and other nice location."

"This is my second time coming to Huangshan. I didn’t climb Huangshan last time, so I gave it a challenge this time. I would like to highlight the housekeeper brother. He has worked at the top of Huangshan Mountain for several years. He is a Huangshantong. He introduced the route up the mountain and precautions in detail. He was worried that we would go the wrong way. He also added WeChat and gave us a message if we encountered a fork in the road and didn’t recognize it. He was very enthusiastic when making videos! The whole process from check-in to check-out was very comfortable. The hotel has a high-speed rail pick-up service. We came from Hefei and the hotel driver contacted us in advance before we got off the high-speed rail, which was very convenient. The hotel facilities are also very complete, worthy of a four-star hotel, but the service is better than a five-star hotel. It’s not that I don’t have enough time and I really don’t want to leave. All in all, it was a very satisfying trip and I will come again."
